Ok….. I walked into my lecture today finding a FULL house type of deal. As usual, I grabbed the seat mid row closest to the door. All the seats in the huge hall were taken and now, students began to grab seats from different rooms to attend this one. I opened the notebook and wrote “sociology” on the top of the page while the professor began. He wanted to get an idea what majors were in the lecture. So around the room everyone shouted: name, year the student is in and the major. The names were quite different and varied in sounds and backgrounds. The level was juniors and seniors. And the major was unified, psychology majors.. except for one person, me! At the end, the professor asked “Raise your arm if you’re NOT a psych major” ukhh… why did you have to do that?? I raised my arm… and he started asking questions like have you taken any psych classes before? Yes. Is this a requirement to your field? Yes! And so on… hellooo? I don’t know anyone in this hall, i’m uncomfortable and they’re all going to be shrinks one day and that’s just freaky, stop! So I realized:
