I work at a small company with only a few people, so managing my work relationships is very important to not only the success of the company, but also my personal happiness.  I’ve had multiple careers and I would have to say that finding the right people to work with is VERY important.

Recently my boss has been getting on my nerves.  He’s the kind of person that at first it’s fun to work with, but as you get to know their habits they become increasingly frustrating.  I guess you could say that about most people..haha.  Seriously though, today, was brutal.  It was a perfect example of a very frustrating habit that my boss has.  They ask my opinion about something only to try and convince me to agree with them.  Man, that is so annoying.  I mean, what the hell is the point of asking me in the first place…why do you want to ask me for my opinion if the all you really want to hear is me say “you’re right”.  That is sooooo frustrating!!!!  I have a brain for a reason…to think about things, evaluate them and formulate an opinion.  If all you want to do is have someone agree with you then hire a freaking MONKEY!
