The path to perfection is paved with bumps. If you’re single again, take this time to do things for you. Build who you are as a person. Do the things you like and develop a healthy network of friends and family.
Even if you prefer to be in a relationship, figuring out who you are as a person is of great benefit in your life and for a future partner. It may take a few bumps in the road until you meet your compatible mate so take this time to focus on you!
If you have an urge to be in a relationship, think about why that is. Do you feel incomplete without a partner? Do you think society will frown on you? Partners should be a happy addition not a substitute for what you’re lacking in confidence or self worth.
Adjusting to Being />Why are you single again? Are you dating the same type of man? Are you following the same path and getting into unhealthy relationships? I have a friend who regularly gets in verbally abusive relationships. She admitted her level of confidence and self esteem wasn’t as high as it could be. Write a letter of goodbye to him. Write out all the reasons you aren’t compatible and release him from your life. Take a picture of him along with the letter and bury it in the dirt. What have you been putting of while you were spending time with your boyfriend? Feng Shui your bedroom, finish the painting, put together your computer desk, whatever it is devote your time to finishing it. Not only will it give you a sense of accomplishment, but it’ll keep you busy.
I’m not the best cook, so with my free time I work on sharpening up my skills. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t. At least most times I have a semi-edible meal at the end!
