Spending time on the Internet; I am sure you have seen free background check services being advertised. Almost every page you come across will have advertisements concerning free background checks.
A lot of surfers that have tried these free background sites, have come out of the experience a little angry. The information you recieve from these services is very minimal. i have spent days trying to find a real free site and have come to one conclusion. One of the only ways to conduct a free backround check is to do it yourself.
I am going to give you some tips and strategies for conducting your own free background check. These techniques are by no means set in stone. Experiment a bit. Think outside the box and develop your own means of gaining background information.
* Sites - Myspace and Facebook are great for conducting your investigations. sites offer personal data from members profile pages. These pages can be used to obtain all kinds of personal information.
* Phone Sites Sites such as whitepages.com is a good resourse for gathering address and phone number data.
* County/State Records - Most counties/states now offer extensive sites. These services are usually free and contain everything from a subjects criminal and driving history to divorce and marriage records. Google or call your local government to determine if they have such a service to offer you.
* Yahoo, Google and MSN - Never underestimate the obvious. Don’t forget to search for your subject on the search engines. Change up your search and include middle names, known addresses. This will often bring up some very interesting results.
The above techniques should give you a fairly comprehensive free background check. You should receive most of the information from the above searches that you would have received on a “paid” background check.
